How to Play:
Click on the Start button to mix up the pieces. The aim is to get them back in order by clicking on the numbers to slide them into the empty box.
There is no target, as different shuffles need different moves, but generally under 100 moves is a good score.
Hint: You can slide more than one piece at a time.
Now why not try the Eight Puzzle
This is the original Fifteen slide puzzle invented around 1878 and marketed by Sam Loyd Senior (1841-1911) and it is also called 'Jeu de Taquin'.
Loyd turned it into an impossible puzzle by making it with the 14 and 15 pieces swapped. The $1000 prize for its solution was of course never won!
